The New York Times: Bush Supports Fed's Actions, but Critics Quickly Find Fault
I suppose I am one of the critics here. I can understand Bush supporting the fed's actions, if it would only happen once or twice. I have no problem with that. What I can't abide is it happening constantly.
We all like to have food on the table and eat when we need, or even want to. It is one thing to eat until you are full, another to eat all you can eat. That last only results in laying on the couch and taking a nap, because anything else feels like you are about to burst. I know that from experience!
So why would Bush encourage this eating habit? That is basically what Bush does by supporting those couch potatoes.
So yes, I find fault here. Mr. Bush, it may be a good idea for the fed's to cut down on the rate. Their intake is way too high. Skipping a few meals, or reducing the portions, will be much healthier for them and result in more activity!
