BLOOMBERG: Mars Buys Chewing-Gum Maker Wrigley for $23 Billion With Buffett Financing
What an ingenious idea! Why didn't anyone else think of this before? Variety is the spice of life. I have no doubt chocoholics and gum chewers will applaud and support this enterprise and look forward to it in anticipation. I know I do.
Some new products might be developing from this union as well. A chewy chocolate bar, chewing gum with Milky Way flavor? Who knows.
Incorporating buffet in the financing is a brilliant move. What self respecting chocoholic would (could) resist an all you can eat-buffet? And think of all those different flavors of gum you can load on your plate. I would recommend they include a sugar-free and low or zero trans-fat section. That way everyone can enjoy it. Ohhh...... how about a drive-through?!
The sky is the limit. Correction... Mars is the limit. If you are thinking about cutting in line, forget it, I am first!
