CNN: Samsung chairman announces resignation
Every job has got it's ups and downs, no matter what kind of job it is. There are tasks one likes, and there are some one wished one could be shed of.
Being Samsung's chairman is a highly responsible job, well paid too I suspect. I can only imagine how bad things must have gotten for the chairman to resign.
It is not always fair to sit on your hands and have someone else take the consequences for other people's unconsidered actions. Well, that is about to come to an end, isn't it?!
I don't think they realized how much more difficult and uncomfortable their own jobs are going to be, after he resigns. They better get on their feet now, before they are forced to, and find a new chairman. Finding the right person might take some time and if this chairman leaves before the new one takes over, their seats are gone as well.
Maybe then they will appreciate all the hard work the resigning chairman put into his job, to see to everyone having a chair to sit on. He might even get a standing ovation!
