CBS: Is It Time To Tap U.S. Oil Reserves?
Everything evolves around politics and strategies. Even the oil companies are in on it. Now, when the general public is starting to have a problem paying those high gas prices, they are considering pulling the plug. But I guess that is only for the rich and famous. I am starting to understand why oil is called the black gold.
So, it finally leaks out! I don't know how long ago this oil was reserved, but I neither knew I could and should have made reservations, nor was I aware of the fact that besides a water tap, you could have an oil tap in your house as well. Whoever rigged this up definitely kept a tight lid on it.
Maybe for the best. Upon consideration, I am having reservations about the installation of an oil tap in our house. It would only lead to confusion, especially being half awake in the mornings, thinking one would grab a quick shower. That would probably result in a lot of aggravation and a much higher water-bill!
