CBS: McCain Proposes Trip To Iraq With Obama
Wow, this totally blew me out of the water, I never saw that coming. It sure emphasizes the fact that you simply can not take anything for granted. It makes me wonder how long McCain has been tossing this idea around.
On second though, we might have seen it coming. McCain and Obama in collaboration on the lobbyists, should already have raised some questions. They seem to be getting along pretty well. Still, the outer appearance indicated the opposite.
I can only assume McCain's cook-out was a huge success and he found his match. So much so, that he decided to propose to Obama. I don't really know how the White House is going to react to this gay marriage, in case Obama accepts. I would however suggest a more romantic destination for the honeymoon then Iraq!
