CBS: The Revolving Door: Lawmaker To Lobbyist
It is always beneficial to broaden your horizon and think outside the box. The path of life consists of constant learning and discovering. The expression: "You are never too old to learn", didn't come out of the blue. That was pure experience talking.
It only takes a few steps from lawmaker to lobbyist. Gaining understanding by experiencing other people's situation, can only result in being a better person. Whether a lawmaker likes to admit it or not, he is a person as well.
When you are outside a large building and come in, be that through a revolving or any other door, you come into the hall. A more sophisticated word for hall is lobby. So... as soon as they enter, they are a lobbyist, just like you and me when we would come into a lobby.
I am glad it got through to the person who finally had this Epiphany. Maybe the next one is the discovery that when a lawmaker enters a store, he becomes a customer?!
