FOX NEWS: McCain, Obama Trade Attacks Over Lobbyist Ties
The best way to solve a problem is to attack it. Sometimes a problem is a bit too much to be solved by only one person. Since two know more then one, a solution is probably found so much quicker, and because of two different perspectives on it, it is likely to be the best one. Yeah, is likely to be the best one, but not always is.
Putting two politicians together to solve a problem, usually does not work out so well. Too many hurdles, obstacles and differences in opinions have to be overcome. It is a great achievement to be able to reach a compromise.
I admire McCain's and Obama's collaboration and their willingness to put forth the time and the effort to come to an agreement, how to go about and achieve a mutual goal. Although I think the solution they came up with is not the best one.
Instead of trading places and wasting precious time by ambushing and attacking the lobbyist for his ties, they could simply have asked the man where he bought them. They could then have gone to the same store and purchased as many ties as they liked.
I do hope both McCain and Obama will get better at tying the knot!
