MSNBC: Captured on film: Uncontacted Amazon tribe
Life is a journey and that journey starts with the first step. While venturing out, we discover something new almost every day. It is a big world and even with all our sophisticated and high tech gadgets and equipment, we have not been able to uncover all it's mysteries.
Personally, I don't see how that tribe survived that long in seclusion. Their social skills must have increased substantially over the years. Normally, jealousy, control and power struggles, griping, nagging and complaining, would result in a fight to the bitter end.
I am also surprised this tribe has been captured on film. The crew who managed to do so, must have either consisted of only women, or they were able to hide extremely well. In the first case, the women would have been tolerated, purely out of curiosity. The last case, nah, I don't see that happening. The tribe members would have known when someone was invading their territory, they are rather possessive.
It's not odd at all, these Amazons have not been contacted before. They got their own little control and power-game going on. Those women can be rather vicious and don't tolerate men very well. Especially when it is "THAT" time of the month. And with a tribe consisting of only Amazons, you can bet it is always "that" time of the month!
