MSNBC: Umpires botch another home run call
The guilt and regrets must weigh heavy on the umpires' shoulders. I am quite sure they wished they had paid better attention from the start.
I know that oblivion and ignorance are a bliss, but consequently will result in messing up big time. Accepting the first impression, no matter how reasonable it may seem, can turn out to be a false believe. The best thing to do is to open up the mind, admit and accept and rectify the situation.
So, here is some advice to prevent this from happening again:
- Right of the bat, don't go with the first service provider that comes along.
- Do some research, look at the roaming costs, and read the fine print. The last is usually where the catch is!
- Make sure you have the best coverage, so you can touch base. That way, in case you need to make another run home again, you won't miss the call.
Now that you are dug out, don't find yourselves in another catch 22. Be warned, with these cell phone service providers, anything is fair game these days!
