MSNBC: Which story in Weird news is most peculiar?
I try to keep up with what's going on in the world and browsing the headlines, I come across so much weird news it's not funny. I actually wonder at times why it is considered to be news at all.
Take these headlines for example:
CNN: Robbie Knievel jumps 21 Hummers.
Big deal. It's not so difficult to jump over 21 Hummingbirds. Those flying critters are so small, you can easily step over them. It would have been more interesting to let us know how they caught those fast hummers.
CNN: Analysis: What's next for Bill Clinton? Silly question. He goes back to what he was doing before Hillary ran as a candidate. I am guessing he has got his hands full being her husband and if that is not enough, he can always consider being a stay-at-home-Dad.
CNN: 'Kung Fu Panda' masters Adam Sandler.
Adam Sandler should have seen that one coming. If you try to beat a Panda, or any other animal for that matter, you can expect it will defend itself. A better use of time would have been, to investigation where PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) was, when they were needed?
MSNBC: 'Incredible Hulk' is a Can't Miss.
How perceptive, NOT! What person in his right mind, would overlook a huge, green creature tearing up anything that crosses it's path? No one can miss that!
MSNBC: Candidates are a study in contrast.
Duhh. If they were not a contrast, we would not have to have to choose between Democrats or Republicans. It's been like that for I don't know how long now. Why they have to make a study out of that, beats me. I suppose they have to keep the professors and students at the Universities busy.
MSNBC: Race horses get second chance.
Nothing new here either. With those gas-prices, any horse will do. Has no one ever heard the expression "history repeats itself"? It's back to the days of the Wild West. I suspect the state will require a riders license, instead of a drivers license. They somehow will get some revenue out of it.
There you have it. Nope, not quite yet. I got one more. The most peculiar of all in today's news, is the question which story in the news is the weirdest.
Take of your rose-colored glasses, look at the headlines and you understand why this question is the weirdest of all!
