CBS: McCain, Obama Spar Over Economy
If this is one of the publicity-stunts, they are doing a good job. Fighting over the economy, huh? What on earth is there to fight about? We all are in agreement there is lots of room for improvement.
It all comes down to where the priorities lay. It seems quite useless to me, to fight about it, at this point. Whoever wins the election, will make sure his own plans will come to fruition. I guess they have to do something to keep the voters' attention.
It could be amusing to see McCain and Obama spar over their differences, especially since it all seems to be done in good fun. What I don't understand is, why they had to deceive everyone by pretending it was a real fight.
McCain and Obama probably thought they could pull it off, but it got slammed back in their faces anyway:

Had McCain and Obama told it was all for amusement and publicity, everyone would be have been very understanding. We wouldn't like to end up with some broken bones, or a cracked skull either. Maybe they already ended up with that last. I would suspect, at least a head ache.
They are butting heads enough over the fight for presidency!
