CNN: Bush lowers expectations for G-8 summit

It was inevitable and only a matter of time. I am glad Bush recognized and admitted his short-comings. He can now take measures to overcome the obstacles at hand and won't be disappointed if it doesn't turn out the way he envisioned it.

Technology has been making forward motion at lightning speed and with all those new lines of communications at our disposal, also come faster ways to interact.

If you don't speak the language, it is wise to lower the expectations. It took me a while to figure out that G-8 stood for gate. Youth can teach us a few things here.

All these 'encrypted' text-messages may save time, but don't enhance the level of understanding, if you are unfamiliar with it. On the contrary. It's like abra-cadabra and it only takes more time before the message finally gets across.

This new 'language' calls for someone to be able to decipher the messages and put them in proper English. It would be wise for Bush to either take a crash-course in texting, or bring a translator. No, make that a code-breaker.

We'll w8 & c!
