CNN: Ticker: Obama regrets putting his kids on TV
I don't consider it wise to put your children on TV. Kids should have their own place and should not be put on the media. Not only are they constantly in the picture, but they also take away the attention from the subject.
I can not see Barack Obama's daughters being comfortable with it either. They are exposed to criticism and can hardly move, without having their behavior corrected all the time and being told what they can, or can not do.
The only results that can come out of this is aggravation, frustration, disappointment and a couple of desperate parents and tantrum throwing kids. It could have a huge psychological impact on the children's development as well.
Unless you really want to create a diversion, you can put your kids on the TV. Don't expect to see any of the programs that are on, the children will be distracting you.
No wonder, it is extremely difficult to stay seated on top of a TV. There is hardly enough space to seat one person, plus I doubt it's good for either TV, or kids. TV's are not build to function as chairs and by lack of seating, kids love sitting and laying on the floor.
Hopefully Barack Obama does not own a flat screen TV!
